Dark Chaos Chao

The Dark Chaos Chao^[1] (ダークカオスチャオ^[1], Dāku Kaosu Chao^?) are species that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a type of Chaos Chao, achieved by a Dark Chao through special methods.

Description

The Dark Chaos Chao are a type of Chaos Chao. They have dark bodies, yellow eyes, purple, red and yellow markings at the tip of their horns, hands, protrusions, feet and tail, a bulb-shaped head, and a blue fireball hovering above the top of their head.

In Sonic Adventure 2 and its enhanced port, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, the player can obtain a Dark Chaos Chao by raising their Dark Chao through special methods.

In Sonic X Shadow Generations, the Dark Chaos Chao makes an appearance one of the numerous Chao to be found throughout the stages. The Dark Chaos Chao is found in Speed Highway Act 2, on the floating platforms.
