Rumble Launcher

The Rumble Launcher (ぽこぽこランチャー, Pokopoko Ranchā^?) is one of the Chao Walker's special attacks in Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. When using this technique, the Chao Walker fires a missile barrage.

Description

When performing Rumble Launcher, the Neutral Chao unfolds a rectangular missile launcher on the back of the Chao Walker and fires a barrage of missiles into the air, which will then pinpoint and rain down on the target. In gameplay, the Rumble Launcher is a powerful move which automatically homes in on the opponent, and the missiles are fast enough to catch up to the opponent when running. Should the missiles take too long to reach their target, however, they will eventually disappear.

The Rumble Launcher can only be performed by playing as the Chao Walker in the games' two-player mode. To use it, the player must press // after collecting thirty Rings. To use it again, the player has to collect another thirty Rings.

Trivia

• The Rumble Launcher appears once the player collects forty rings and return inside the machine once used.
