Arctic Chao

Artic Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Artic Chao have black pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms or feet have digits. However, they have white tips on their arms and feet, and white bellies. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Artic Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity. It can be unlocked at the orange and yellow vending machine in Hill Top. When purchasing from this vending machine, the player has a 8% chance of getting an Artic Chao.

In gameplay, Artic Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Artic Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Artic Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up an Artic Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse an Artic Chao by collecting five Artic Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing an Artic Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Artic Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
