Yellow Chao

Yellow Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Yellow Chao have gold pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a yellow tips on their legs and arms, a floating dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Yellow Chao is a collectible pet of the "Common" rarity. It can be unlocked at the golden vending machine in Green Hill. When purchasing from this vending machine, the player has a 30% chance of getting a Yellow Chao.

In gameplay, Yellow Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Yellow Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Yellow Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Yellow Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Yellow Chao by collecting five Yellow Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Yellow Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Yellow Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
