Master Chao

Master Chao are a type of Chao in Sonic Speed Simulator. They are Chao who are based on a specific world, and could only be obtained by collecting all of the Chao from vending machines in a world.

Appearance

Master Chao vary widely in appearance and have little in common aside from the basic Chao body shape, and having appearances based on a specific world.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Master Chao are collectible pets that come in the "Special" rarity. They could be obtained by getting every Chao that comes from a vending machine in Green Hill, Lost Valley, and Chemical Plant before the Mega Update made them unobtainable. Only one of each variant could be obtained, meaning they cannot be fused.

In gameplay, Master Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Master Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Master Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Master Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes.

Powers and abilities

Master Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
