Coral Chao

Coral Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Coral Chao have pale red pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Coral Chao is a collectible pet of the "Rare" rarity. It can be unlocked at the golden vending machine in Green Hill. When purchasing from this vending machine, the player has a 13% chance of getting a Coral Chao.

In gameplay, Coral Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Coral Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Coral Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Coral Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Coral Chao by collecting five Coral Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Coral Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Coral Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
