Dash Vegas

Dash Vegas is a track that appears in Sonic Forces: Speed Battle. It is unlocked in Tier 6, or upon reaching 2250 Trophies.

Description

Dash Vegas is a hard-difficulty track based in Mystic Jungle. It contains massive six-lane half-pipes, Grind Rails, and Triple Dash Pads.

Gameplay

In Dash Vegas, the playable characters are stuck running down the level's road and can only move left and right between the road's lanes (akin to the Quick Step). While running, the player can pick up Rings or power-ups from Item Boxes and utilize the gimmicks native to this track. Rings and Item Boxes in particular respawn almost immediately after a playable character picks them up from the track.

Dash Vegas has many environmental obstacles which the player can either jump over, roll under or move around. Running into one of these obstacles will result in the player taking damage and lose some of their Rings. Falling into bottomless pits on the other hand forces the player to restart from an earlier point on the track.

Overview

The track begins on a six-laned portion of the track. The player starts out by heading down a straight and long section of the track. After being forced to slide under a wall of thorns covering all the lanes, the player will enter a leftward turn in the track, before entering a right-turning Grind Rail section leading back into a rightward, six-laned half-pipe with Triple Dash Pads along it. Evdentually, the track will straighten out again before leading across a Grind Rail section. After that, the player enters another straight portion of the track before it turns to the left. The track will then lead straight ahead for a while before turning leftward again. Right after that, a bottomless pit will appear. After that, the player has to slide under a thorny vine covering the all the lanes. The track will then turn right, before leading across a Grind Rail section. After that, there will be a brief half-pipe section that leads into another Grind Rail section that goes right. From here, the player switches between half-pipe and Grind Rail sections until they pass through a green tunnel. On the other side of that, the player enters a corkscrew leading to the left. After that, the player enters a straight track section, with the lanes merging into four and Triple Dash Panels along them, before arriving at the goal.

• The name of this stage is a pun on the real world city Las Vegas.
