Beach Chao

Beach Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Beach Chao have orange pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have closed eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms or feet have digits. However, they have red tips on their arms, feet, and head points. They also have a floating red dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, they wear a blue set of sunglasses.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Beach Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It could first be unlocked during the "Beach Party Event", where one Beach Chao could be unlocked by collecting 100 and 500 chili dogs each, and three Beach Chao by collecting 1,000 chili dogs. Alternatively, the player could unlock them by paying respectively 99, 199, and 399 Robux during the same event.

Following the 2.0 update, a batch of five Beach Chao was added as one of the rewards granted for completing Tails' "Tracing the Trail" Quest.

In gameplay, Beach Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Beach Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Beach Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Beach Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Beach Chao by collecting five Beach Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Beach Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Beach Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
