Doom Spears

The Doom Spears (ドゥームスピア, Dūmu Supia^?) are a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Doom Power used by Shadow the Hedgehog that allows him to fire much stronger Chaos Spears at up to five targets at once.

Description

When using Doom Spears, Shadow is able to fire an enhanced Doom-influenced version of his Chaos Spears in rapid succession at up to five targets.

Shadow Generations

In Shadow Generations, it is one of many Doom Powers that Shadow the Hedgehog can utilize to his advantage. In gameplay, the player fires up to five enemies to clear the path, which can be done both on ground and while in free fall. Doom Spears will not lock on to a target that is obstructed from the player's view.

The Doom Spears are the first Doom Power to be unlocked, appearing after the completion of Space Colony ARK. After it is unlocked, Doom Spears can be enabled in any stage (except for Tokyo).

To use Doom Spears in gameplay, the player has to hold // until multiple cursors appear.

Sonic Speed Simulator

In Sonic Speed Simulator, the Doom Spears appear as part of Doom Shadow's moveset to promote the release of Sonic X Shadow Generations. Although Doom Shadow can perform Chaos Spear, he only has access to the Doom Spears when his Doom Wing is activated, upgrading his attack. The Doom Spears revert back as Chaos Spear when the Doom Wing disappear, as a result of when the Super gauge runs out.
