Pink crystal

The pink crystal is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a type of pink-colored crystal that spawn in a random world within different time intervals for the player to collect.

Description

Described as mystical in nature, the pink crystals consists of a cluster of three pink crystal spikes protruding in different directions.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, pink crystals are objects that spawn at random in random worlds during the "Save Amy Event" and must be collected in order to unlock Lychee Chao, Dragon Fruit Chao, Strawberry Chao, and Amy Rose in the game. After spawning, the player will have three minutes to collect as many as possible. Notably, the pink crystals always spawn in set places. When a pink crystal has been found, the player can touch it in order to collect it. When collected, a gauge will then appear on the left side of the HUD that shows how many pink crystals the player has left to collect before unlocking a character. The amount of pink crystals needed to unlock each character are as follows:

• Lychee Chao: 300
• Dragon Fruit Chao: 1,000
• Strawberry Chao: 3,000
• Amy Rose: 5,000

If the player collects the required amount of pink crystals for each character, they will not spawn anymore. However, players who do not have the required amount still have a chance to collect them.
