Cloud Chao

Cloud Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Cloud Chao have light beige, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms or feet have digits. However, they have black tips on their hands and head, and white tips on their feet. They also have a white spot resembling a cloud on their torso, a black floating dot above their head, a short and round tail, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Cloud Chao is a collectible pet of the "Common" rarity. It can be unlocked at the pink and blue vending machine in Lost Valley. When purchasing from this vending machine, the player has a 25% chance of getting a Cloud Chao.

In gameplay, Cloud Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Cloud Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Cloud Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Cloud Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Cloud Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Cloud Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Cloud Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
