The Golden Midas is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog seriesExtreme Gear .
Overwiev The Golden Midas first appeared in Sonic Speed Simulator as an Extreme Gear of the "Legendary" Rarity. it could be purchased with Robux when avaible. Despite its price, the Golden Midas functions identically to all other Extreme Gear in the game. As such, after aquiring it, the player can equip it in levels, and perform Hoverboard Boosts while riding it.
Appearance The Golden Midas is a gold-plated Extreme Gear adorned with red gems and yellow feathers. The flat top of the board also sports a white engraving, and two yellow circles for the rider to place their feet on.
Trivia Its name, coupled with its golden appearance, is an obvious reference to the tale of King Midas, who could turn anything he touched into gold. Gallery
