Marine Chao

Marine Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Marine Chaos take the appearance of a normal Chao. For attire, they wear a pink and yellow snorkeling set which a blue tip and a swim ring with pink and white coloring.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Marine Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity. It could be purchased at a display model near the starting point in Green Reef for 499 Robux on 30 July 2022. Alternatively, the player could buy five of them at once for 1,999 Robux at a display model in the same world. However, the option to purchase them was removed approximately a week afterwards.

In gameplay, Marine Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Marine Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. They also provide extra airtime whenever you go underwater. The player can as well level up Marine Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Marine Chao will improve its attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Marine Chao by collecting five Marine Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Marine Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Marine Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with, alongside increasing air time underwater.
