Bounce Bracelet

The Bounce Bracelet (バウンスブレスレット Baunsu Buresuretto?) is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Level Up Item for Sonic the Hedgehog.

Description

The Bounce Bracelet is a specialized bracelet that Sonic wears on his wrist. In Sonic Adventure 2, the Bounce Bracelet looks like a grey bracelet with a mechanical device on the top, while in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), it is golden with a glowing green light on the top. When wearing it, it allows Sonic to perform the Bound Jump.

Sonic Adventure 2

In Sonic Adventure 2 and its enhanced port Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, the Bounce Bracelet is located in Pyramid Cave. After passing the second Star Post, the Bounce Bracelet can be found on the way down the main path.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)

In Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), the Bounce Bracelet becomes available when the player has to enter Radical Train, as it is needed to access the stage. It can bought from the local Shop for 2,000 Rings.

Trivia

  • The Bounce Bracelet is one of the two Level Up Items required to get the Magic Gloves Level Up Item, which is found in City Escape.
  • The Bounce Bracelet and the Magic Gloves Level Up Item are the only two of Sonic's Level Up Items that do not have an equivalent with one of Shadow's Level Up Items.
  • In Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), the Bounce Bracelet is the only one of Sonic's Level Up Item that can be seen being worn by him in gameplay, aside from the Gems.
    • It is also the only Level Up Item that is not used through the Custom Shoes.
