Fire Chao

Fire Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Fire Chao have red, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. However, they have yellow tips on their hands, head, and feet. They also have an orange spot resembling a fire on their torso, a yellow floating dot above their head, a short and round tail, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Cloud Chao is a collectible pet of the "Uncommon" rarity. It can be unlocked at the blue and green vending machine in Lost Valley. When purchasing from this vending machine, the player has a 25% chance of getting a Fire Chao.

In gameplay, Fire Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Fire Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Fire Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Fire Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Fire Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Fire Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Fire Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
