Mochi Chao

Mochi Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Mochi Chao have white, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, green tips on their arms, yellow head points, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Mochi Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It can be unlocked at the blue, purple and golden vending machine in Chemical Plant. When purchasing from this vending machine, the player has a 4% chance of getting a Mochi Chao.

In gameplay, Mochi Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Mochi Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Mochi Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Mochi Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Mochi Chao by collecting five Mochi Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Mochi Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Mochi Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
