The Flamberge (フランボワヤン Furanbowayan?) is an item that appears in Sonic and the Black Knight. It is an unlockable weapon that can be equipped to and wielded by Sir Gawain.
Description
The Flamberge is a pair of identical hook swords that resemble sickles. Each sword has a red grip with a golden rim-like guard on both ends and a sword pommel resembling Knuckles the Echidna/Gawain's fist with a green diamond cut gem on top. Both blades are colored red and white, with a single edge, and the top of the blades are jagged with three points. Also, the foot of each blade have a short green sheet.

Etymology
Flamberge means "flame blade", and is a term used for an undulating blade found on both long blades and rapiers, which can transfer unpleasant vibrations into an opponent's blade upon colliding.
Trivia
- The end of the sword resembles the Master Emerald and Knuckles' gloves and the top resembles his quills.
