Bomb Gun Attack

The Bomb Gun Attack^[1] (波動砲発射, Hadōhō Hassha^?) is a move that appears in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut. It is an attack used by E-101 Mark II wherein it fires exploding laser beams.

Description

When using the Bomb Gun Attack, E-101 Mark II will charge up and fire a series of yellow laser beams from a high altitude. Said lasers pack enough power to cause explosions upon impact.

In gameplay, this attack is used during the E-101 Mark II boss battle. The Bomb Gun Attack is seen from a bird's eye view, allowing the player a better chance to avoid it. While the laser itself is avoidable, the explosions they create have a wide damage range. E-101 Mark II will shoot varying numbers of Bomb Gun Attacks, the amount of which depending on how low its life gauge is. When its life gauge has two hits left, E-101 Mark II will end its series of attacks with a super-charged shot that creates a wider-than-normal explosion.
