Bomb Attack

The Bomb Attack^[1] (爆弾投下攻撃, Bakudan Tōka Kōgeki^?) is a move that appears in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut. It is an attack used by the Egg Walker where it shoots multiple bombs.

Description

When using the Bomb Attack, the Egg Walker fires a barrage of bombs in front of it that will explode upon impact.

In gameplay, this attack is used during the Egg Walker boss battle. When the Bomb Attack is used, the player will take damage should they touch the bombs' explosion radius, or the bombs themselves. The Egg Walker will only deploy the Bomb Attack if the player is at a distance from it, so if the player stays close to the Egg Walker, this attack can be avoided completely.

Variants

Bomb Attack 2

The Bomb Attack 2^[2] is a variant of the Bomb Attack where the Egg Walker drops bombs when jumping from one end of the street to the next. The bombs drop randomly, so as long as the player makes it to the other side before the Egg Walker, they can avoid this attack safely.

Bomb Attack 3

The Bomb Attack 3^[3] is a variant of the Bomb Attack where the Egg Walker drops bombs when walking from one end of the street to the other. Avoiding these is as simple as staying clear of them. Otherwise, the player will take damage.
