Apple Chao

Apple Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Apple Chao have red pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms or feet have digits. They also have a floating green dot above their heads, yellow tips on their legs, arms and head points, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Apple Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It can be unlocked at the red vending machine in Green Hill. When purchasing from this vending machine, the player has a 4% chance of getting an Apple Chao.

In gameplay, Apple Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Apple Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Apple Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up an Apple Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse an Apple Chao by collecting five Apple Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing an Apple Chao will combine the base stats of all the Chao involved, but it also keeps the Experience Points and level of the specific Chao that was fused.

Powers and abilities

Apple Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
