Biology

Physiology

Revavroom is a vehicular Pokémon with a primarily black body. It has four black wheels and a silver engine attached to its body. Eight exhaust pipes stick out of the engine, with each pipe covered in a purple liquid, which it could be poison. the six exhaust pipes are smaller and stick out of the longer exhaust pipes. Trivia

    • Revavroom and its pre evolved form are the only Steel/Poison-type Pokémon.
      • In addition, they went unreleased in all pre-release media they appeared in.
    • Yusuke Kozaki revealed himself to be the designer of both Varoom and Revavroom, as well as Cetoddle and Cetitan.[2]

    Origin

Revavroom is most likely based on a multi-cylinder engine and a car. Viewing it from the front invokes a skull, a common motif for biker gangs (hence its association with Team Star) and toxic substances (hence the Poison type).

    Etymology

Revavroom may be derived from rev and vroom.
