
Marvel Comics is an American comic book publishing company best known for their characters, consisting of superheroes, supervillains and other characters. The company is part of Marvel Entertainment, which as of 2009, is a division of The Walt Disney Company. They published Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends magazines from their debut in 1987 to Issue #304 in 1999. They no longer publish the Thomas magazines as they are now published by Egmont Publishing. Andrew Brenner wrote the adaptations of the first two series and many of the early original stories for the comics.
