Grumpy George is a magazine story.
Plot
George is mending the road alongside Thomas' Branch Line. When one of Percy's headlamps falls down the embankment and onto the road, he stops at a nearby signal. George then decides to prove his strength by smashing the lamp to pieces. When Daisy's driver's hat is blown onto the road, George squashes that too. The next day, some melons fall out of Thomas' trucks; George tries to squash them, but only ends up covered in juice!
