Thomas and Daisy! is a magazine story.
Plot
It is raining and sand bursts all over Thomas. When he returns, Daisy laughs at his comeuppance. The next day, Daisy collects the band and Thomas collects a large shipment of sandbags. Thomas can hear a band playing and Daisy watches them. The Mayor of Wellsworth is about to announce the opening of the new Town Hall when the water main bursts. Luckily, Thomas has an idea and everyone pitches in to help his driver make a wall using sandbags to keep the waves away. The idea works, the water main is mended and everyone cheers.
