Track Trouble!

Track Trouble! is a magazine story.

Plot

Tidmouth is a very busy station and the engines have to sometimes queue to enter, making trains late. The Fat Controller decides something must be done, so he has a new siding built. However, things go badly from the start; a spark from Percy's funnel sets fire to a nearby section of grass and then his boiler overheats. Next, BoCo's trucks tip over, and Thomas breaks a coupling so he can only push and not pull trains. Finally, Diesel drops the new track which has to be rescued by Terence. Soon the extension is completed and the engines are now happier not having to queue up near Tidmouth any more.
