About Time! is a magazine story.
Plot
Stephen is late for breakfast reading a book, while Bridget is also late for lunch. The Fat Controller lends the children his old pocket watch. They use it to play railways, until the vicar knocks on the front door, telling Lady Hatt that they should have been learning tennis at 3 o'clock. This makes the children feel disappointed, so the vicar arranges another day for them. They go to the children's playground instead, and they check the watch. It suddenly stops. Lady Hatt severely tells the children about being on time and not being late. Next day, Lady Hatt takes her grandchildren to the cinema, and are going to travel on Thomas' passenger train, but he is late. At last, Thomas comes by, puffing out from behind the shed. The grandchildren promise their grandparents to be on time from then on, just like Sir Topham Hatt's engines.
