Trevor's Train!

Trevor's Train! is a magazine story.

Plot

Oliver enjoys working on his branchline; he gets to visit the coastline every day, which gives him the feeling of being on holiday. During summer, as he passes the caravan park, the holiday goers wave and watch as he steams past.

When the seasons change to autumn, everyone goes home and the caravan park is empty. While stopped at a signal, Oliver sees Terence towing away old caravans to be replaced with new ones. In the sheds, Oliver tells Thomas and Duck all about it.

The next morning, Thomas sees Trevor, who is sad he will not be kept busy in winter. Meanwhile at the caravan park, Terence pops a tread, leaving no-one to help move the caravans. At a junction, Oliver tells Thomas about Terence's troubles, which gives Thomas the idea to speak to the Fat Controller. Arrangements are soon made and when Oliver passes the caravan park again, he sees Trevor filling in for Terence, who has happily gone back to ploughing after his treads were fixed. Trevor comments that he must look like a real train now.
