The Canoe Race! is a magazine story.
Plot
It is the day of the canoe race and Thomas sees some people with canoes. The race starts and Thomas, too busy watching the race doesn't notice a tree trunk splashing into the water. Thomas' driver runs to get help from the fisherman who produces some strong rope between Thomas and the tree trunk. He pulls with all his might and just in time, he manages to tow the tree trunk out of their way for the canoes to pass through. Everyone cheers as the canoeists speed through the finish line and praise Thomas for all his help.
