Story
Suikoden I
During the Toran Liberation War, she chased Juppo wherever he went. When she learned that Juppo joined the Liberation Army, she also joined without a second thought. After the Toran Liberation War, she left her home saying "adventure calls!"
Suikoden II
During her journey, she continued to follow Juppo, but she got stuck in the Muse-Greenhill Border and couldn't pass through. She met Riou and joined the New State Army. After the Dunan Unification War, riding on Gadget, she took-off on an adventure to find Juppo.
Genso Suikogaiden Vol. 2
After successfully modifying Gadget into a fighting machine called "Super Karakuri-Maru," she went toward Crystal Valley with Millie and was later joined by Nash Latkje and Viki. She later comes to meet her older self in one of Viki's time travels. Her older self appears to be working in a farm with Tony and Yuzu.
Suikoden III
After several years, Meg had a daughter, Belle, to an unnamed father. She gained inspiration for Gadget Z after being struck by lightning, after which she disappeared, causing Belle and Gadget Z to search for her.
Role in the Game
Meg mirrors Juppo in being a good back row physical fighter. She has a Guard Robe permanently equipped. Compared to her uncle, she's much stronger and her high luck stat ensures she lands critical hits more often. Her lower HP and defense stats means she can't survive much punishment for long, at least until she acquires more powerful gear.

None.
Meg is the only character other than Juppo who can equip a Trick Rune. Another option is to give her a Killer Rune, which when combined with her naturally high luck parameter, allows her to inflict many critical hits in one fight alone.

"Go easy on me, please."
"Wha? No no no..."
Father: Meg! You wildcat! Leaving home without permission!
Mother: Well, well, it's Meg and you're all right, I see say, who is this?
Father: Wh-who is it!? Meg, it's not your husband, is it?
Meg: Who? You mean Tir? He's just a friend. He's leader of the Liberation Army.
Father: Friend? What!? Did you say leader of the Liberation Army!?
Mother: So you're finally back, Meg.
Meg: Oh no, I plan to see a lot more of the world and learn all there is to know.
Father: Meg, it's no use talking to you.
Mother: Good luck, Meg.
Meg: Ok!
In order to recruit Meg, speak to her at the Muse-Greenhill Border when the HQ is at least at Level 2.
Meg is still a solid back row fighter, with decent physical and magic power. Meg usually reaches her fourth rune level (100+ magic skill) at level 60. Equipped with a Lightning Rune/Thunder Rune or a Wind Rune/Cyclone Rune, she can cause quite a bit of damage because of her affinity with both runes. Meg has the highest Luck stat in the game, and can easily top 250 at level 60 if built correctly. This luck stat makes her one of the better characters to have a Hunter Rune equipped, as a normal tactic is to cast Wind of Sleep, whose success is based partially on luck. Meg can equip robes and lighter equipment, but cannot equip the heavier kinds like chain and armors. She does not wear a shield, just as before. She has a Luck Ring equipped, which cannot be taken off. While she can make a nice healer with a Water Rune or a Flowing Rune in Suikoden, she loses this ability in Suikoden II because of her poor speed.

Note: Meg still uses her throwing knives.

Meg's equipped runes make her a pretty balanced character, and can make her a decent healer right after recruitment. However, later in the game, it is advisable to equip her with a Lightning or Wind Rune, because of her high skill with those runes. Do not equip Earth, Fire or Resurrection Runes on Meg in Suikoden II, as she has a 20% chance of backfiring with them.

Richmond's Investigations
Name:Meg
Age:16
From:Lenankamp, Toran Republic
Position: Special Forces
She set off on a journey to follow an old man named Juppo who was teaching her the lost art of gadgetry, but lost track of him on the way. I guess he didn't want to be followed.
I looked into her room the other day and saw Gadget all broken down into pieces. I can't believe she really put it back together.
This girl doesn't think before she does something. There's no good reason for her setting off after Juppo either it seems.
That thing on Gadget is busted again. He's making so much noise. Maybe I should tighten his thing gamajig.
I had to take Gadget apart and put him back together. There were a few screws left when I was done though.... I hope it's okay.
I plan on having lot's of fun and lot's of adventure before I catch up to Juppo and complete my training as a mechanician. Tee hee.
"Meg is learning the art of gadgetry. For lunch, she eats anchovy pizza and spicy curry...."
Trivia
- In Suikoden, once Gregminster is liberated, take Meg to Lenankamp to see her parents for a hidden scene.
