Background

Nina is a young girl who is a student at the New Leaf Academy, in Greenhill.

Appearance

Nina has yellow hair and green eyes. She wears a black scholar skirt, yellow shirt, red and black vest and brown shoes. Her weapon of choice is a book.

Personality

Nina is somewhat calm with excitement especially gaining a crush on Flik when Riou and the others are posing as students while he defends the Highland soldier from harassing women. Her crush on Flik leads her to chase after him who had unwanted attraction towards women even showing her jealousy when she made Nanami as her love rival despite she had no interest on him. Flik also reveals that he had no interest on much younger women. Aside from her main personality, Nina also detests the horrible actions caused by the Highland Army and also the one to convince the citizens to make Teresa escape with Riou and his group.

Story

Genso Suikogaiden Vol. 1

When she met Nash Latkje in Greenhill, she developed a huge crush on him. During the Highland Army's first siege of Greenhill City, Teresa along with the help of Nash, Nina, Jeane, Connell, Emilia, Jude, Georg and the people of Greenhill, they defeated the Highland Army and sent them away.

During the Highland Army's second siege on Greenhill, she led the students to fight against the Highland Army. After Greenhill's defeat, Teresa went hiding in the forest. Shin feared that he would stood out if he would be the one to buy the supplies Teresa needed so he asked Nina for help. Nina would secretly go to their hideout to hand the supplies needed.

Suikoden II

When Riou and his party came to Greenhill, to rescue Teresa Wisemail, she saw Flik and had also developed a huge crush on him. After some time, Nina convinced the citizens to let Teresa escape. Nina herself escaped from Greenhill with the help of Fitcher, she then joined the New State Army. After the war, she tried to follow Flik, but lost track of him, and she is still waiting in Greenhill for him to return.

Suprisingly, she is one of the best characters in the entire game. A high magic and magic defense stat, coupled with above average HP, defense and strength + her strong weapon, she can dish out good magical and physical damage. She also has a great unite attack with Flik, adding even more usefulness.
