Wrongfully blamed for stealing tax funds from the town of Rockland, Sydonia and Varkas are forced to fight Tir McDohl and his entourage. The duo are defeated and taken as prisoners to Rockland. Later, they're tied out to dehydrate without a trial, and are rescued by Tir and company. After Lepant is recruited to the Liberation Army, Sydonia and Varkas show up at Toran Castle to repay the favor and join them. After the war, Sydonia turns down an offer to be a border patrol with Varkas and disappears. It is unknown what happened to him after that.
Sydonia is a fast fighter, making him useful for getting the drop on enemies. Sydonia's speed makes him good for attack runes to deal damage before enemies can strike. With medium range and weak defense, keep in the back row and just let him harass enemies from the backlines.

The best use for him is to unite attack with Varkas, so a support rune such as a Water or Flowing Rune for him to heal outside of battle is recommended.
