Kaku (カク; Kaku) is a location in Suikoden.
Overview
Kaku is a quaint fishing town in the Gouran Region that offers a scenic view of the ancient castle on Lake Toran. The town serves as a gateway to the lake. Fishing is its primary industry. The sun-bronzed fishermen, who make their living fishing in Lake Toran, are known to take tourists out on their boats if asked. Near the harbor, there is a tavern, and beneath it, a gambling den can be found. The small village thrives with numerous other shops, including an inn, and a blacksmith.
The structures in Kaku feature stone walls weathered to a fine hue and tiled roofs — a common architectural combination in this region.
The population was 900 shortly after the formation of the Toran Republic.
During the Toran Liberation War, Lotte's cat, Mina, was lost somewhere in this town.

Trivia
- Between the two war battles with Teo, the access to the town from the lake was completely prohibited.
- Genso Suikoden Kiwami Daijiten states that Toran Castle was to the east of Kaku, despite it appearing to the west in maps.
