Rikon (リコン; Rikon) is a location in Suikoden.
Overview
Rikon is a village located in the far-east of the Kunan region. It was once home to the renowned healer Liukan, who operated a hospital here. After growing tired of treating the populace, Liukan retired, and attempted to isolate himself by moving past the Dunan Rapids, a river no ordinary boat could pass through. During the Toran Liberation War, Tir McDohl and his entourage launched a new, motor-powered boat from Rikon to overcome the Rapids.
In the later years of the Scarlet Moon Empire, it was referred to as Premier L'Amour ("First Love") as per the order of General Milich Oppenheimer.
The houses in this town also feature octagonal roofs as a standard design. The roofs and outer columns are made of wood, giving the town a warm and inviting feel.
The appraiser, Jabba, originally had a shop set up in this town, but joined the Liberation Army after they brought him a Nameless Urn. The urn, a treasure so valuable that even the famous appraiser Jabba couldn’t put a price on it, was found on a Holly Fairy that appeared nearby.
The Howling Voice Guild gunner, Clive, was known to have stopped at the inn here during his pursuit of the renegade gunner, Elza. People have been known to repeatedly enter and exit the building in hopes of spotting this mysterious character.
Shortly after the founding of the Toran Republic, the population of Rikon was 3,500.
