Background

Kai once lived in the mansion of Teo McDohl and taught bo staff techniques to Tir McDohl as his master. One day, he suddenly said, "I’m going out for a bit," and disappeared.

His staff is black, slightly longer than Kai’s height, with gold embellishments on both ends and a simple design.

Before the Gate Rune Wars, Kai was Tir's weapon instructor, living at McDohl mansion. One day, he said he was going for a walk, but never returned. During the Gate Rune Wars, Tir encountered Kai at the Garan Fortress, where Kai chose to join Tir's army and put his fighting skills to work again.

The presence of Master Kai was a great source of emotional support for Tir, who was troubled by the confrontation with his father, Teo. Even at the age of 50, he used the Hazy Rune in battle, showcasing an array of splendid techniques. After the war ended, he was appointed as a martial arts instructor for the Republic of Toran's army and served as one of the Six Great Generals of the young republic.

Kai is a solid physical attacker, but weak in magic. But what makes Kai a powerhouse is his Unite Attack with the Protagonist, which is the best Unite Attack in the game to hit multiple enemies. Due that, Kai is best suited to take care of Random Battles.
