Before the Toran Liberation War, Kuromimi lived in the Great Forest Kobold Village until Kwanda Rosman's Black Rune put the minds of the Kobolds under his control. Kuromimi resisted the control and began to seek help for his people. He was unsuccessful in pleading with the Dwarves for help. He was surrounded by Rosman's troops in the Kobold Village but was saved by Mathiu Silverberg of the Liberation Army. His mother and older brother were reunited with Kuromimi after the disappearance of the Black Rune. Overwhelmed with emotion, the two simply called Kuromimi’s name to express their joy.
This event led him to join the Liberation Army, where he helped raid Pannu Yakuta in order to stop Rosman.
His ever-positive and energetic demeanor inspired his comrades. He was greatly admired by fellow Kobold warrior Gon, who called him "brother", highlighting his caring and supportive nature. After the war, he returned to the Kobold Village and became its chief.
Kuromimi is a strong frontline swordsman with good attack and HP scores. He also has excellent defense due to being able to equip helmets, mid-weight armor, shields and Kobold-exclusive Necklace accessories.
