Riou and his party stayed at the White Deer Inn and met her. Riou and Nanami asked if they could borrow Hilda and Alex's entry permits. Alex only agreed to lend his entry permit if Riou helped him to get the treasure at the Sindar Ruins located at the back of the White Deer Inn. Riou and his party agreed and went in the Sindar Ruins. Instead of jewels and gold they found Healing Herbs. In Alex's disappointment he throws away the healing herb at the front gate of the Sindar Ruins.
After getting the treasure, Alex along with Riou and his party found Hilda lying on the ground. Hilda was sick and had a high fever, they put Hilda on the bed and Alex stayed at Hilda's side while Riou and Jowy were looking for a doctor. Jowy can't find any doctor, while Riou went at the front gate of the Sindar Ruins and got the healing herb. He immediately gave it to Hilda and after Hilda took the herb she recovered.
During the Dunan Unification War, Hilda and Alex moved to South Window, for Alex's treasure hunter needs. The couple and their son decide to settle down at Dunan Castle after Riou asked them. Hilda opened an Inn there, while her husband took care of the Item Shop. After the war, Hilda and her family returned to the White Deer Inn to live a happy life with them.
