Hikusaak is a character mentioned in Suikoden II and Suikoden III.
Profile
has been High Priest of Harmonia since its creation following victory in the Hero's War against Aronia in -2 until the present day. His longevity is directly connected to his True Rune, the Circle Rune, and it is under Hikusaak that Harmonia began its goal of gathering as many of the 27 True Runes as possible. Although Hikusaak has complete control over the country and is officially recognised at the nation's head of state, he has been relatively inactive for many years.
Hikusaak hasn't been seen in centuries, leading some to believe that he is in fact deceased. Civil war broke out in Harmonia in the year 237 because of this, although in the end, the uprising was put down. In his absence the political machinations of Harmonia are handled by bishops and the aristocracy.
Hikusaak seemingly knows some advanced Sindarian techniques as he created a series of clones, including Luc and Sasarai, to bear the True Runes that Harmonia would gather. How he came to know these techniques however is unknown.
Hikusaak remains a complete enigma.
Trivia
- Hikusaak is one of the most mysterious characters.
- Hikusaak has the ambition to gather all 27 True Runes in his body, but since it can only have one True Rune per being or place, he tried several different ways to get all the True Runes, which is how Luc and Sasarai were created.
- Estimated that Hikusaak's face is similar to Luc and Sasarai's. This may be because they are both his clones.
- Hikusaak is actually a twisted and cruel character. In order to have all the True Runes under his control, he used body parts to get the true runes and give them human forms. (Example: Luc and Sasarai)
