- "Let's forget our troubles and get in a fever with a slightly punkish, homemade pop!"
- ―Music Comment[1]
777 is one of the songs from the default songlist in pop'n music 8. This song is one of the well-known classics in BEMANI history, known for its poppy exterior overlaying the base of rock music. It was once added to the now inactive mobile game, pop'n music KONAMI MUSIC HITS!.
777 received URA charts in pop'n music 11. These could be unlocked when the three last digits of your overall mileage at the end of a game round are 777, or in random as well. In the console version, however, the URA charts are unlockable in the POP'N TOURIST (ポップンツーリスト?) event, under the Africa section.
777 was a downloadable song for pop'n music (i-αppli). It was also one for the Wii release of ポップンミュージック as part of the Expert-Difficulty Intense Set (超上級バシバシセット?), but it is categorized to be the default song for the North American release.
It was also a default song for the failed North American localized version of HELLO! POP'N MUSIC, just simply titled POP'N MUSIC.
The EeL song is part of the default songlist in pop'n music portable for the PlayStation Portable; in addition, it is playable in Adventure Mode, where you'll encounter Hina in the Forest Area. The song will be played again in the World of Light.
In ポップンリズミン, 777 was part of the Pop'n Standard 3 (ポップンスタンダード3?) bundle.
The song is later part of the subscription-based default songlist in pop'n music Lively for the PC.
Lyrics
1,2,3 Oh! It's so easy. 1,2,3 Oh! It's miracle. 1,2,3 Oh! And the present time. I don't think so... I'm nothing now. 1,2,3 Oh! It's so easy. 1,2,3 Oh! It's miracle. 1,2,3 Oh! And the present time. I don't think so... I'm nothing now. I got love, I'm happy. I wanna be a little mermaid. And the last, sadly sadly I become a something else, so... I got love, so the end. I wanna be a bubble of sea. ta tara tata … It's OK! ma ma ma mamamamamamama... Someone tell a lie about a little mermaid, so... Nobody wants to know the end of beautiful world.
