321 STARS is a song that first appeared in beatmania completeMIX2, and a crossover song for pop'n music 8. It is the 19th song unlock from the Sugoroku de 8 (すごろく de 8?) event, available by directly landing to Tokyo, Japan, after heading to Hachiojima and walking to it. Failing to do so on the third trip will let you end up landing in Hachiojima or simply passing it on the fourth. This song could be to unlocked from July 17 through August 28, 2002.
321 STARS received a brand-new EX chart in pop'n music 9's Gambler de Z (ギャンブラーZ?) unlock event. It could be unlocked from February 13 through March 12, 2003 after unlocking 翔べない天使 and clearing 321 STARS's EX chart, or failing it enough times until it's automatically unlocked. This chart was carried to pop'n music 8 CS. As of the aforementioned end date, this chart is playable by default.
321 STARS is unlockable in pop'n music Lively since January 12, 2022 as part of the Pop'n Quest (ポップンクエスト?) unlocking system.
Lyrics

Trivia
General
- Along with the other BEMANI songs crossed over to pop'n music 8, 321 STARS displays ♪♪♪♪♪ as the artist. This has never changed.
References
- A joke occurred with 321 STARS in pop'n music with its NORMAL chart; if one achieved a full combo in pop'n music 8, it was 321 (MAX COMBO in earlier pop'n music game was the song's notecount total minus 1). Once the MAX COMBO got updated in later pop'n music games to include all of the song's notes, the joke was lost. The similar case happened in older DanceDanceRevolution games.
Etymology
- The title, 321 STARS, is a reference to Kiyotaka Sugimoto's birthday, March 21st (3/21).
Song Production Information[1][2]
