Hata (旗?) is one of pop'n music 18 せんごく列伝's songs that belong to the default song list. It was a downloadable song from pop'n music (i-αppli), before the game's shutdown.
旗 is also a default song, now in pop'n music Lively.

Trivia
- 旗 is Akino's first song to use Japanese titles, as well as her first solo song in BEMANI sung in Japanese.
- This is also her second pop'n music song for her to sing in Japanese, after Gradation from pop'n music 14 FEVER!.
- According to wac, 旗 was originally planned as a hidden song, but it was decided to make it a secret unlock under certain conditions in the location test. It was later made a default song in the final release.

I received the offer from wac like always, and what I thought about in a flash is "Hata", because he told me "Today's theme is Sengoku."
In truth, this is a rearrangement from a previous project from just 10 years, when Akino rather contributed in a song in her first day.
Around that time, I had an interest in things like archaic language, thus the song where I wrote the lyrics in, while doing some research in a old-language dictionary, is such song that exists.
I crafted the image about the time about the Japanese envoys to Tang China, as "Hata" is much older than Sengoku. It's a sense that makes them advance to the Great Sea on ship.
I was able to be in the mood to perform by myself, but when everybody hits a lot of buttons, do I feel like going to cut open a path towards an unknown world where they travel to the sea?
I am pleased if that happens. (I slightly wonder how wide the sea is)
Akino
When I received the song for my first time, I remember saying "Am I supposed sing something?", but I now think about if this song is unique or not.
It's pretty hard for me technically, though it steadily feels like that I cannot let my guard down, to be honest.
