PULSE is one of the songs categorized in the default songlist in pop'n music 2 CS, and is part of the Second Stage. The song was then transferred to pop'n music 3 as a song that is part of the Final Stage. The song appears in pop'n music打!! as the only secret and ULTRA HARD-level song.
PULSE is a hidden unlockable song in pop'n music GB, where it can be unlocked by either reaching 85000 points or more on the First Stage in Normal ARCADE MODE, or inputting one of the temporary codes. It is additionally a hidden unlock in pop'n music 7, available after 2.5 hours of playtime in ARCADE MODE. In an alternative method, PULSE can be unlocked by clearing stage 1 or 2 with a MAX combo of exactly 80.
The 319 song is present in all versions of ポップンミュージック. In the original Japanese release, it was a downloadable song that was bundled inside the Intermediate Step-Up Set (中級ステップアップセット?). In comparison, both the NA and European versions of the game has it as a default song.
PULSE received brand-new HYPER and EX charts in pop'n music peace, as they could be unlocked via the Pop'n Time Trip -prologue- (ポップンタイムトリップ プロローグ?) event from February 14, 2019 to February 19, 2020 by filling out 2 stamps of the third pop'n music CS card. Since August 13, 2020, these charts are automatically unlocked by default. Unlike the charts from lower difficulty, the HYPER and EX versions feature Highlight Zones. The EX chart was re-rated in that same game on March 5, 2019.
