- "I remember that summer had arrived. The summer festival of distant memories appears again in pop'n music!"
- ―Music Comment[1]
夏祭り is a song by JITTERIN'JINN, which was used as the team song for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows baseball team, and as a commercial song for many commercials from the pachislot game CR Fever Dai-Natsumatsuri by Sankyo. This track is also JITTERIN'JINN's fourth single, before appearing in the Punchout (パンチアウト?) album on September 1990. A cover version of 夏祭り, sung by mao, was playable in arcade titles, starting with pop'n music 17 THE MOVIE. It also appeared as a downloadable song in the now defunct mobile game, pop'n music (i-αppli)
夏祭り received an EASY chart in pop'n music Sunny Park, replacing its old 5-Buttons chart, as well as UPPER Charts in pop'n music 解明リドルズ. This song was also added to pop'n music Lively on June 2nd, 2021; and later on, its UPPER charts were included in the same game on October 31, 2022.
On December 2, 2024, 夏祭り and its UPPER charts were removed from pop'n music arcades.
Lyrics

The memory of a summer with you is in a distant dream Where the fireworks that had disappeared into the dark night sky The sweet smell of your hair was spreading You looked so well and bright in your yukata I was feeling very excited on the festival night Through the crowd of people we almost got separated Saying "Don't be far from me", I almost tried to hold hands But I put back my hands and crunched it in my pocket The memory of a summer with you is in a distant dream Where the fireworks that had disappeared into the dark night sky The memory of a summer with you is in a distant dream Where the fireworks that had disappeared into the dark night sky
