Aqua is a song that made its debut in pop'n music 15 ADVENTURE. It was the fifth and final unlockable song in the WATER ROUTE (水ルート Mizu Ruuto?) via the Waku-Waku Mimi Nyami Tankentai (わくわくミミニャミ探検隊?) unlock event, available from July 4, 2007. On September 26, 2007, the song is automatically unlocked by default.
Aqua was formerly downloadable content for the defunct mobile game, pop'n music (i-αppli). It was additionally a downloadable song for the Korean-exclusive mobile game, 코나미 팝픈뮤직, on July 16, 2009.
In pop'n music portable, Aqua is an unlockable song in Adventure Mode. To unlock this song, the player had to defeat Madam Ragora in a Pop'n Battle in the Sea Area. The second time, as a Trainer song, can be played in the World of Nothingness. For the final time, it is in the "Elements Course", where your opponent is Super Mogu.
The song was added to pop'n music Lively on August 30, 2023, bundled inside the pop'n music Lively Music Pack vol.12 (pop'n music Lively 楽曲パック vol.12?).

- wac himself noted he was a bit unsure of following up on the request he made for a song about water being the source of all life for the boss song of the water route in pop'n music 15 ADVENTURE's unlock system, noting their family situation.

Around this time, it's really making me think about the topics about life and death; it happens that Akino's stomach grows larger and larger, and it's almost identical to both of my song's deadline and my wife's expected delivery date.
I remembered writing the lyrics in haste, needing her to sing to wrap things up, before the baby would be born.
The original song was a song written for the video works from my friend, a song as scat singing with no lyrics. That became what is formed into for today, as I've expanded the song in a brand new method in there, creating a lineup for the vocals, and that is why it fits the image of water.
My best friend passed away due to an illness, one month after my children were born, but I believe that it was a relief that it was something for me to keep this piece of work of mine.
Akino
I sang to insert my sensation to nature, linking the lyrics with my own situation. It became a very special song for me.
