cat's scat is an additional song from pop'n stage ex. It crossed over to both home versions of pop'n music 6 and 7 as a hidden song and a default song respectively.
cat's scat is the eleventh song unlock from the Sugoroku de 8 (すごろく de 8?) event in pop'n music 8. It can be unlocked by directly landing on the city ? on your first trip around the board, or by passing it on your second trip around. cat's scat could be obtained from July 17 through August 28, 2002 It also received a brand new banner and a new Battle NORMAL chart in that same game.
cat's scat received URA charts in pop'n music 11. These can be unlocked when the three last digits of your overall mileage at the end of a game round are 222, or in random as well. In the CS version, these charts can be unlocked in the Pop'n Tourist (ポップンツーリスト?) system, under the North America section.
cat's scat's URA charts were revived in pop'n music peace as one of the unlocks in the Pop'n Time Trip (ポップンタイムトリップ?) event. They could be unlocked from April 11, 2019 to February 19, 2020 by filling out one stamp of the first pop'n music 11 card. From December 24, 2020 in pop'n music 解明リドルズ, they are available by default. cat's scat's (URA・SCAT) received a new banner, while its charts received new Highlight Zones while ditching the background. Both of the URA EX and Battle Normal charts are slightly re-modified, while its EASY chart is identical to its old 5-button chart.

Song Production Information[2][1]
This is one of the songs I enthusiastically selected while thinking "let's make the EX version of pop'n stage exciting~!". Initially, it received a mixed reception among the staff members, who commented "it feels like a hot spring hotel (?)". This song was almost rejected, but when they added steps to it, hey, it's interesting after all, right? No matter what happens, just make sure to step on the final "a~n" button (somehow).
