neu is one of the songs that originated from pop'n music 15 ADVENTURE. It was additionally the final unlockable song for the entirety of Waku-Waku Mimi Nyami Tankentai (わくわくミミニャミ探検隊?) event, as the sole unlock of the WORLD OF NOTHINGNESS (無の世界?). The song would be unlockable by unlocking all 28 previous songs from the unlock event, from July 4 through September 26, 2007. Unlocking all of its charts have the event to be concluded, and the HELL 15 course added to be available to play. After the event came to an end, neu is available to play by default.
neu was downloadable content for pop'n music (i-αppli) at an unknown date, and for 코나미 팝픈뮤직2 카니발 on December 17, 2009.
This song is the penultimate unlockable song in pop'n music portable's Adventure Mode, as well as the boss song in the World of Nothing.
