ROMANCE (ロマンス?) is a hidden song that is the only miscellaneous unlock from pop'n music 8 CS. It can be unlocked in this game by either turning off EVENT and playing the game for 2.5 hours, or playing ARCADE mode after finishing the Sugoroku de 8!! (すごろく de 8 !!?) unlock system. Compared to its debut, ロマンス is a default song in pop'n music 9 CS.
ロマンス was transplanted to the arcade release of pop'n music 11, as one of the unlockable songs from ROUTE C via the POP'N TOURIST (ポップンツーリスト?) unlock event. It could be unlocked from May 19 through June 30, 2004, before it is available to play by default.
In pop'n music Lively, the song was added as downloadable content on March 13th, 2024, as part of the pop'n music Lively Selection Music Pack vol.2 (pop'n music Lively セレクション 楽曲パック vol.2?).
