The Slide Booster (スライドブースター , Suraidobūsutā ? is a Board type Extreme Gear that appears in Sonic Riders Air Boosts during Air Slides .
Description According to its profile, the Slide Booster can execute consecutive slides. It can be purchased at the shop for two thousand Rings from the beginning of the game.
The Slide Booster is designed as a green board-shaped Extreme Gear likely resembling a kayak, with a pointy front and a white accent on the rear. Also, in the center of its top surface it has a white field that is encircled by a yellow outline.
Abilities and traits As a Board-type Extreme Gear in Sonic Riders , the Slide Booster is well-balanced in its attributes with average statistics, an average rate of fuel -consumption and is suited for general riding.
The Slide Booster grants high Air Sliding abilities in gameplay. When using the Slide Booster while performing an Air Slide , it will perform an Air Boost in the direction the player is facing after only a split second and will likewise turn at a very high rate. However, it is unable to perform a normal Air Boost.
