Berserker

The Berserker (バーサーカー, Bāsākā^?) is a Board type Extreme Gear that appears in Sonic Riders. It always keeps its rider in attack mode.

Description

According to its profile, the Berserker is said to have been used by a legendary knight. It can be purchased at the shop for 2,500 Rings from the beginning of the game.

The Berserker displays a very spiky-looking design. It has a distinct board-like shape, but with a triangle-shaped front, making it resemble an arrow. It is primarily colored white, with a brown foot panel that is covered in small harmless spikes, and its outer borders around its midsection and rear are built up from sharp layers. The front of the berserker also has small spikes along its edges, with one large on each of its back points and a yellow stripe running down the middle.

Sonic Riders

In Sonic Riders, as a Board type Extreme Gear, the Berserker is well-balanced in its attributes with average statistics, an average rate of fuel-consumption and is suited for general riding.

When riding on the Berserker, the player will always be in attack mode, automatically attacking opponents even if the playable characters are not boosting or when the player's Air Tank runs empty. However, the Berserker does not gain Air from grinding, smashing obstacles, air riding, performing Trick Actions or using Automatic Trails, and any Air Pits the player passes through will be ignored.

Statistics

Sonic Speed Simulator

In Sonic Speed Simulator, the Berserker is obtainable during the "Cheetah Shadow Event" for boosting for 480 seconds in Races. Once unlocked, the Berserker can be used by any character, and essentially functions similarly to all other Extreme Gears in the game. The Berserker also has an in-game rarity of "Legendary".
