Access

The Access (アクセス, Akusesu^?) is a Board type Extreme Gear that appears in Sonic Riders. It gives its rider the traits of the Fly Type.

Description

The Access can be bought at the shop for 1,500 Rings from the beginning of the game.

The Access is designed as a board-shaped Extreme Gear, resembling a triangle with curved and sleek sides. Its edges and bottom are colored white, while its top surface is cyan with a gray line running down the middle, from one gray area on the foremost front to the back of the rear.

Abilities and traits

As a Board-type Extreme Gear, the Access is well-balanced in its attributes with average statistics and an average rate of fuel-consumption and is suited for general riding.

In a race, the Access grants its rider Fly Type attributes, allowing the player to use Air Riding. In addition, the rider can still utilize the original type-related ability of him/her while riding the Access to collect Air, meaning that Speed Type characters can still grind on rails and Power Type characters can still destroy obstacles, when riding the Access. However, it moves at a below-average speed when using Air Boost.
