According to its profile, the Rail Linker is an amazing auto-grinding gear, and the rider could potentially take a nap while using this gear and still dominate the rails. It can be purchased at the shop for 3,500 Rings.
The Rail Linker mostly resembles a pair of metallic hover skates. The foots of the Rail Linker are of cool grey-colored metal with white metal accents encircling the whole foot. It also glass-like domes covering the mechanical workings on the soles, and has a cool grey metal hook on both heels. The upper rims are as well made of cool grey metal accents, adorned with smaller red accents, while the area around the ankles are of a black material.
Abilities and traits
As a Skate type Extreme Gear in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, the Rail Linker is less powerful than most Extreme Gears, but is instead more agile. It can grind in Grind Areas by default and can slide at high speed.
When using the Rail Linker, the player will automatically start grinding in an approaching Grind Area while on the ground, unlike in other cases where the player has to press the Grind button to enter it. It will also automatically link onto a new nearby Grind Area when the player is reaching the end of another Grind Area while grinding.
